Jeanette Jones is a PNW oil painter who has been showing work locally and nationally since 1997. Her paintings are built in many layers with the intention of evoking a sense of mood and narrative. Jeanette states she finds inspiration from embracing boredom and watching shadows shift across walls. She received a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. After graduating, Jeanette has continued perfecting her craft by learning from artists she admires such as Ned Mueller and Zoey Frank among others.
Jeanette’s work has been included in Bainbridge Island Musem of Art’s Spotlight Exhibtion and Washington states annual CVG Juried Show. In her free time she enjoys taking road trips with her husband and two dogs.
