Artist Statement

I feel fortunate to spend my days doing what I love! I paint for the sake of painting: the  process, materials, tools, and paints are all inspiring to me. My favored subject matter is  organic in nature: landscapes, seascapes, animals, and birds. Light and color are my spark,  and I hope my artwork helps others see the beauty that I see everywhere I look.
