Growing up with Grandparents who farmed the soil in Oregon, Brenda is familiar with the value of land and hard work.  She is attracted to the old structures as if it were a history book laid out before her.  Brenda painted this scene on-site in Fish Creek, Door County, WI. She later returned to modify the structure with paint to resemble the memories of her Grandfather’s barn, which, unfortunately, is no longer standing.
